A history major in college, his infatuation with this nation’s past and present stand out throughout his show.  He has appeared on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show and his material is played on Sirius/XM satellite radio. His comedy is clever and honest, a unique combination of social commentary and ridiculous observations.

Russell Dickerson and
Natalie Stovall
Tickets required – Adults $10,
Non-VU students/Seniors $8,

Russell Dickerson – From the modest pews of a West Tennessee church to the gleaming stages of Music City, twenty-five year old Russell Dickerson was destined to make his way to the spotlight.  With a musical family background the natural ability to entertain, Dickerson discovered his love for country music when his family move to Nashville.  “I got my first real hand-made acoustic guitar when I was sixteen,” Dickerson says, “I was so exited, and even thought I couldn’t play it yet, I started a band.”  With a commanding presence both off and on the stage, the 6’4” Dickerson blends his rich vocal quality with a style all his own.  “You’ve gotta’ respect the traditional music while doing your own thing at the same time,” he says.  “That’s what’s great about country music – you can do that.”
Natalie Stovall – After just a few short years in the campus market, Natalie Stovall has been named the 2012 Entertainer Of The Year by the voters of Campus Activities Magazine® in the Reader's Choice Awards. One of the most common comments about this performer is "I don't even like country, but I like this country. It almost didn't even seem like a country show." Put it this way, when she rips "The Devil Went Down To Georgia," it's in a medley with some Metallica. Hers is a show bred for wide audiences, and this year that mainstream popularity paid off with her winning the big one. Natalie was born and raised just outside of Nashville, TN. Since her first professional gig singing and playing the fiddle at the age of 10, Natalie has already seen things that most artists could only dream of. She's performed everywhere from Oprah to the Grand Ole Opry. She was the first performer ever to be invited to sing God Bless America for the President at the White House Press Correspondents Dinner. And she has done all of this with no record deal of any kind.

However, don't let his Mid-western charm fool you! Danny likes to walk the line, and at times will go wherever his audience leads him.
